The fourth episode of Who Is the Mask 2026 aired on Univision, featuring a tense elimination round where two contestants were unmasked. The show, which airs Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern time, saw all remaining characters face narrow votes to stay in the competition.
Pablo Ruiz was revealed as Caco Mixtle, the elegant and mysterious character who performed 'La Nave del Olvido' by José José. Ruiz, known for his stage and telenovela work, stated during the show that he is a close friend of host Yuri. His unmasking came after the judges and viewers failed to save him.
The episode began with Ela Velden unmasking as Octavia Ventosa. This character had faced Carmela Tarantela and Alex Loro in the first battle of the night. The remaining contestants then performed for the panel of investigators and the home audience.
Dr. Kaboom and Patito Feo also competed in the final round. Dr. Kaboom performed '¿A Dónde Van?' by Kinky, while Patito Feo sang 'Rata de dos patas' by Paquita la del Barrio. Patito Feo dedicated his performance to several celebrities, including Anahí and Omar Chaparro, and noted his fondness for Day of the Dead traditions.
The investigators deliberated twice during the broadcast. They agreed to save Dr. Kaboom, while the public vote saved Patito Feo. The remaining contestant, Caco Mixtle, was eliminated. Prior to the unmasking, experts on the show guessed the identity could be Jaime Camil, Flavio Medina, Benny Ibarra, Miguel Martínez, Lorenzo Antonio, Carlos Rivera, or Jesús Zavala.
The experts initially considered candidates from Argentina before shifting their focus to Mexican celebrities. Despite changing their predictions, they did not identify Pablo Ruiz. The show continues to air its eighth season weekly on Univision.
