Travelers seeking recommendations for restaurants or local attractions in cities hosting NFL games can now turn to a new set of guides curated by the players themselves. Marriott Bonvoy released 37 player-designed city guides on Oct. 27, covering every domestic and international market scheduled to host a game during the 2026 season.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp offers insights on Seattle, while Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata covers Philadelphia. NFL legend Jerry Rice provides recommendations for Mexico City, and former running backs Todd Gurley and Mark Ingram II share their picks for Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro, respectively. Each guide combines these personal suggestions with illustrated maps created by social media artist Jeff Cole.

Marriott paired the guides with a new 10-episode content series that follows select players through their home destinations. Participating hotels will host related experiences throughout the season. In select markets, fans can book packages that bundle NFL tickets, hotel accommodations, and local activities.

The campaign integrates with Marriott Bonvoy Moments, the company's loyalty platform. Members can redeem points for exclusive events tied to specific games. The 2026-27 offerings include packages for matchups involving the Ravens, Washington Commanders, and 49ers, as well as international games in Paris, Madrid, and Munich. Additional Super Bowl packages are expected to become available in late November.

The initiative also revives the Super Bowl Sleepover Suite promotion. One winner will spend the night before Super Bowl LXI in a luxury suite converted into a hotel room at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium. The sweepstakes runs through Dec. 15.

The marketing effort supports Marriott's 'Where Gameday Checks In' platform, which positions its hotels as destinations for traveling football fans. The company also launched a new advertising campaign titled 'Long-Distance NFL Relationships' for fans who live far from their home teams.

The partnership aligns with the NFL's record nine international games scheduled across seven countries and four continents this season. League owners have approved increasing international games to 10 beginning in 2027, and commissioner Roger Goodell has proposed expanding the total to 16 games per season. The international slate began in September with games in Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro, followed by a debut in Paris on Oct. 25 and three games in London earlier in the month.

All 37 city guides are available on the Marriott Bonvoy NFL Travel Hub, where fans can also access game-day packages and enter the sweepstakes.
