Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught nine passes for 150 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's 20-3 win over Kansas City on Sunday night, a performance that put him in position to become the first wide receiver to win back-to-back Offensive Player of the Year awards.

The Seahawks entered the game at 3-3 amid questions about turnovers, a stagnant running game and a defense that had not matched last season's level. They answered by keeping the Chiefs out of the red zone for the first time in Patrick Mahomes' career. Kansas City's leading rusher, Kenneth Walker III, was held to 36 yards.

Smith-Njigba has 50.2% of Seattle's receiving yards this season. Only one player, Ken Burrough in 1975, has carried more than half of his team's receiving yards since the 1970 AFL/NFL merger. He faces a defense that had not allowed more than 72 yards to a receiver before Sunday. DraftKings lists him at +450 to win Offensive Player of the Year, behind Jahmyr Gibbs at +250 and Kenneth Walker III at +280.

Defensive back Nick Emmanwori lined up at 11 different positions Sunday, taking at least five snaps each at right slot cornerback, left outside linebacker, right linebacker, left linebacker and right outside linebacker. Sumer Sports recorded that Seattle did not use base personnel on a single snap. Emmanwori also pressured Mahomes on the interception thrown from right linebacker. "He's one of one," Emmanwori said of Smith-Njigba after the game.

Cincinnati trailed Baltimore 13-0 at halftime and won 35-13, the third-largest comeback by a team down 13 or more at the break. Joe Burrow went 16-for-18 for 249 yards and four touchdowns in the second half. Tee Higgins had no catches before halftime and finished with six for 148 yards and a score. Burrow ran 17 of his 18 second-half pass attempts from out of the shotgun.

The Rams beat the Raiders 35-21 without Davante Adams, running on 55.9% of their offensive plays, their highest rate in two seasons. Kyren Williams carried 16 times for 99 yards and Blake Corum 17 times for 93 yards; each scored. Los Angeles led 28-3 at halftime.

Houston dropped to 2-4 with a 27-21 loss to the Giants. J.J. McCarthy threw for 252 yards and New York rushed for 188, its most in three seasons. The Texans rank 25th in defensive rushing success rate after finishing seventh last year, and they are tied with Detroit for the most passes of 20 or more yards allowed at 29. DeMeco Ryans took over defensive play-calling from Matt Burke after the 0-4 start. "It's definitely a new year, and it's a new team," Ryans said.

Two of the three undefeated teams lost in Week 7, with San Francisco and Kansas City falling. The trade deadline sits two weeks out, following moves that sent Cam Jurgens to Baltimore and Joey Porten Jr. to Dallas.
