Sportsbooks are rolling out sign-up offers ahead of the Mexico Grand Prix, scheduled for Nov. 1, 2026. DraftKings lists Max Verstappen at +135 to win, Andrea Kimi Antonelli at +170, Charles Leclerc at +800, Lewis Hamilton at +900, and George Russell at +1600. Those figures were current as of Oct. 27.

Several platforms are competing for new users with cash bonuses tied to small opening wagers. DraftKings requires $5 spent to unlock $200 in bonus bets plus three months of NBA League Pass. FanDuel returns up to $350 in bonuses across seven days of $5 wagers, with a bonus bet token issued for each qualifying $5 bet. Fanatics offers $350 in FanCash after a $20 wager. BetMGM covers a first bet up to $1,500 in bonus bets if that wager loses, and Caesars Sportsbook provides up to $250 in bet reset tokens.

Prediction markets have moved into racing as well. Kalshi, available to new users nationwide, gives $55 in bonus trading credits after an initial trade of $25 or more, though sports contracts are unavailable in Michigan, Nevada and Washington. Polymarket credits $25 in trading credits on a $10 deposit. Both are federally regulated markets.

Odds in racing work the same way they do elsewhere in sports betting. A driver priced at -150 to win requires a $150 wager to return $100, while a +200 underdog returns $200 on a $100 bet. Bets can also be placed on qualifying outcomes, which typically run the day before the race and can move the race odds. Wagers on which driver or team wins outright, top-five and top-ten finishes, and head-to-head matchups between two drivers or teams are offered. NASCAR and IndyCar add stage winner markets tied to lap counts, group winner markets, and top car make driver markets.

The Mexico Grand Prix is one of several races drawing attention. The Indianapolis 500 runs on Memorial Day weekend and anchors the IndyCar calendar. NASCAR's Crown Jewel events are the Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, and the Brickyard 400. On the F1 side, Monaco, Silverstone, Monza, and Singapore are considered marquee rounds, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix typically closes the schedule. F1 has also added races in Miami and Las Vegas.

Race weekends generally place practice on Thursday or Friday, qualifying on Friday or Saturday, and the race on Sunday. NASCAR runs multiple series with races most weekends. F1 publishes a fixed calendar with breaks, during which junior formula series may compete.
