Amy Klobuchar expanded her advantage in the Minnesota gubernatorial race to 35 points among the youngest voting cohort, according to a new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll released on Thursday. The survey marks the final public release of statewide polling data before voters head to the polls on Tuesday.

The results show a shift toward the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party across multiple contests. In the governor's race, Klobuchar's overall lead over Republican Lisa Demuth grew by five points from earlier this month. While Demuth gained ground among voters over 65, Klobuchar maintained a 19-point edge with moderate voters. Among men, Klobuchar now holds a two-point advantage, a change from previous measurements.

The U.S. Senate race between Peggy Flanagan and Michele Tafoya also moved left. Flanagan's lead over the lieutenant governor widened to seven points. She leads voters under 50 by 20 points and holds a 19-point edge with women. Tafoya retains a three-point lead among men and a four-point advantage with voters over 50.

Keith Ellison, the current Attorney General, pushed his lead over challenger Ron Schutz to eight points. This represents his best showing in the last seven polls conducted by the firm. Ellison leads women by 18 points, while Schutz's lead among men has narrowed to two points. Twenty percent of moderate voters in that race remain undecided, a figure higher than in the previous poll.

Steve Simon's lead in the Secretary of State race against Tad Jude nearly doubled in the past few weeks. Simon now holds an 11-point advantage. He leads among both men and women, with a 19-point edge among female voters. Jude maintains a lead only in the 65+ age demographic.

In the State Auditor race, Zack Filipovich expanded his lead over Scott Jensen to six points. Filipovich gained ground among both voters under 50 and those over 50. Jensen's lead among older voters narrowed to three points. Twenty percent of moderate voters in this contest are still undecided.

Minnesota Republicans have not held a statewide office for 20 years. Six weeks ago, polling suggested they might win multiple positions. The new data indicates DFL candidates are extending their leads in the final week of the campaign.

SurveyUSA conducted the poll using a mixed-mode methodology, combining landline and cell phone interviews. The firm weighted responses to U.S. Census targets for gender, age, and race. Interviews were conducted in English.

Voters in Cuyahoga County and across the state will cast ballots for these offices on Tuesday. The results of the KSTP/SurveyUSA poll provide the final snapshot of voter sentiment before the election day count begins.
