WCLV's Oct. 27 schedule hands overnight and early-morning listeners over to Peter van de Graaff, who hosts classical blocks at midnight and 3:00 a.m. The 3:00 a.m. hour is built almost entirely around Liszt: Liebestraum No. 1 in A-flat with Lang Lang at the piano, Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat with Alice Sara Ott and the Munich Philharmonic under Thomas Hengelbrock, and the song "Hohe Liebe" with soprano Janet Obermeyer. A Liszt paraphrase on Verdi's Rigoletto, played by Claudio Arrau, appears later in the morning at 5:22:54.

The midnight hour opens with works by Grazyna Bacewicz and Karol Szymanowski, then moves through a Forqueray clavier suite and Mozart's Symphony No. 41, the "Jupiter," with Bruno Walter conducting the New York Philharmonic. Van de Graaff's overnight set also includes Bach's Cantata No. 147 with Gabriela Montero, Alexander Mackenzie's Pibroch, and a pair of settings of Shakespeare's As You Like It, by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and William Walton. A Walton Henry V Suite follows at 1:55:24, performed by the Cleveland Orchestra under Louis Lane.

At 6:00 a.m., BBC News precedes a classical block hosted by Jacqueline Gerber, which runs until Mark Satola takes over at 10:00 a.m. A midday segment at 12:00 p.m. pairs BBC News with Lunchtime with the Cleveland Orchestra, featuring Schumann's Symphony No. 2 in C and Dvorak's Othello Overture. John Mills hosts at 1:00 p.m., followed by Bill O'Connell at 4:00 p.m., then Dinner Classics at 6:00 p.m. and Symphony at Seven with John Mills at 7:00 p.m.

Performance Today with Valerie Kahler begins at 8:00 p.m. The program includes Joel Puckett's Concerto Duo with Anthony McGill on clarinet, Demarre McGill on flute, and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra under Allen Tinkham, from the album Winged Creatures on Cedille 90000187. Other entries on that program include a Gershwin medley arranged by Miho Hazama, Robert Schumann's Arabesque in C Major with Simone Dinnerstein recorded at Spivey Hall at Clayton State University, and Brahms's Clarinet Sonata No. 1 with Anthony McGill and Gloria Chien, recorded at Chamber Music Northwest in Portland, Oregon.

WCLV's schedule also lists a D minor String Quartet by Dmitri Shostakovich, a Prokofiev Symphony No. 5 first movement with the National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic under Joseph Young at Dekelboum Concert Hall in College Park, Maryland, and a Trio for Oboe, Clarinet, and Bassoon by Klement Slavicky at the Round Top International Festival in Round Top, Texas. The schedule does not include a program for the hours after the Prokofiev entry.
